1-Click-Fix – Scan And Repair PC Registry Errors

I run Windows Vista and XP on PCs at home and at work, and have noticed the performance on both my work laptop and my home desktop have slowed a lot in the last few months.

Both the computers show frequent error messages when I run Internet Explorer and Outlook Express, and often the programs freeze, and cause the computer to crash.

In the past when I’ve had these errors and freezes, I’ve used a registry cleaner to remove the redundant and obsolete files that are slowing Windows down.

I’ve had problems with other registry cleaners before, usually, because they identify the wrong registry entries, and end up removing data that my computer needed to run. This meant I had to re-install Windows to replace the files the registry cleaner deleted – annoying!

What 1-Click-Fix Claims To Do
I read about 1-Click-Fix online and decided to give it a go. It has been developed over 7 years and more than 50 software upgrades, so it sounded a lot more professional than other registry cleaners I’ve seen.

The claim that got my attention was its ability to run a deep scan that identifies only the redundant registry entries – leaving important data and files intact.

Also, 1-Click-Fix did a data backup before running the scan, so I had peace of mind that if anything went wrong, like a power outage or something similar, the software would be able to return the PC to its same state before the scan.

What 1-Click-Fix Actually Does
Downloading and installing 1-Click-Fix was simple. I didn’t have to do anything to make it work, which is good, because I’m not very good at installing software.

When the software downloaded, I just pushed ‘Start’ to run the scan and in a few minutes the program had found 392 files to cleanup. To me this is a sign of a good registry cleaner. Others I’ve used in the past have told me they need to cleanup sometimes over 1,000 files, which I guess makes it seem like the computer is worse than it actually is.

Results
So after the scan and repair, both my desktop and laptop rebooted faster than before. There are no more error messages when I open Internet Explorer or Outlook email, and the program crashes and freezes have been fixed as well.

For the sake of reviewing the product I also tried the technical support, which they advertise for free, 24/7 on live chat. The support was fast and useful, giving thorough answers to normal questions like, ‘how do I restore the old registry data?’, and so on.

So overall I was impressed with 1-Click-Fix. For $27 it’s a very high quality product. I’ve paid up to $40 for other cleaners in the past, but 1-Click-Fix outperforms them all.
