If you need a program that able to give you all DVD information such as disc manufacturing information and supported write speeds, you can use DVD Identifier because it will retrieve and interpret the pre-recorded information that is present on dvd media (dvd+r, dvd+r dl, dvd+rw, dvd+rw dl, dvd-r, dvd-r dl, dvd-rw and dvd-ram) and on blu-ray media (bd-r and bd-re).
Even though this information is usually printed on the packaging, the brand name may differ from the actual manufacturer or there may even be no label at all. ‘DVD Identifier’ offers a reliable method to identify the disc, regardless of the label information.
