VSO-Inspector is a free add-on to report various information about your hardware configuration.

Using VSO Inspector, you can easily check the listed cd and dvd readers and writers connected to your PC, check the firmware used.

The details about the media used and the speed supported by a given writer with this media. Also you can scan a burnt media for read errors and be confident about the readibility of your fresh backup.

BGEye will render system info as the desktop wallpaper. The information is rendered as a variable array of elements, together with icons, onto a pre-defined background, before being saved as a bitmap and temporarily set as the wallpaper.

BGEye renders a new wallpaper every 60 seconds (or less).

RivaTuner is the most powerful tweaking utility for NVIDIA display adapters running under Windows 98 / Windows 98 SE / Windows ME / Windows 2000 and Windows XP. The purpose of this utility is to give you access to all the undocumented features of the Detonator drivers. RivaTuner is a very useful video tweak utility.

All versions of the Detonator drivers have a lot of undocumented registry entries. Some of them don’t affect anything, but there are some that are very useful. In general, they cannot give you big performance boost but they can improve image quality and solve some compatibility problems.
