“Blank And Secure” is really a portable tool to safely remove the information. Safely erased files are needed to block the recuperating of erased data.
Secure deletion can be done with this particular program, because “Blank And Secure” overwrites the information with zeros before removing. The information recovery doesn’t seem possible following this operation. So please just use when the data should be permanently erased.
Another overwriting standards for example US DoD 5220.22-M ECE, German standard and Peter Gutmann standard isn’t implemented, because in tests, the outcomes didn’t have measurable improvement, for your reason it’s not implemented in “Blank And Secure”.

A DVD is composed by several Video Title Sets (VTS), and each one can contain one or more Program Chains (PGCs).
A VTS is a collection of Titles, which are composed by one or more PGC. One Program Chain can be an entry (the first PGC of a title) or not in the DVD title list.
All PGCs of a VTS must have the same video attributes
One PGC is composed by Cells, (the minimum playable item). In fact, a PGC is a sequence of Cells.
